Well the news has been released and Tiger is going to have to have ACL surgury. Hate to see anyone shelf their career for a year or so, but think he will be back ready and willing to play.

Also, if anyone can afford to take the year off, it's him. I think he'll be back without missing a step.

I bet they dont really mean a whole year. Probably just the rest of this season.
I dont see Tiger missing The Masters and The U.S. open next year.
He might have a little rust when he comes back but it will fall right off.
I wonder if he will alter his swing so he dont snap his knee as much?

That's a good question. I heard somewhere that he gets a little extra power by snapping the knee.

By snapping his knee, does give him that extra power. Driving his legs through the ball. With a sucessful ACL surgury he should be able to have his old swing. But stranger things have happen before. But if there is one who can make this to his favor, it would be Tiger. He will find a way to be better than he was already.
