Played my first “competitive” golf in 6 years the other day — Captain's Cup intermural at NAS Meridian, MS — and also my first time ever playing best ball. Fortunately, I played fairly well, and kept our team in the running through most of the game (my partner was having an unusually bad round)… in fact, we shot the 2nd best round of the 12 teams in the mix!

Unfortunately, we were playing against the team that shot the best round of the 12 teams in the mix! Ended up losing by 2 strokes (after really gunning for it to try to make up a one shot deficit on the last hole).

We all had a great time, and I'm looking forward to the rest of this season!
