My drivers ball flight has been too low so I went on a launch monitor.

I hit about ten different clubs but still only get about 9 degrees average launch angle. I believe I am closing the clubface and delofting the clubs.

When I hit my 3 wood off the deck it hasnt been flying very high either.

Any ideas on what to try at the range?

I also have a very low ball flight, so I'll be interested if anyone can suggest some technique for correcting.

I think my hands are getting to far out in front and I'm closing the club face to compensate.

“It’s easy to hit the fairway, just aim for the rough and miss.”

If you guys are aggressively closing the clubface you might have other problems than just a low ball flight.  (Hooking, pull hooking, etc).  I on the other hand have exactly the opposite ball flight with almost every club ESPECIALLY my irons, I have a very high ball flight (which I like).  Usually with irons if you have the ball too far back in your stance you may have a lower ball flight with a bit of a push to the right.  Possibly an over rotation of the wrist could lead to a straight shot or just simply returning the clubface to setup.  Other than that the only other cause would be a very shallow swing plane, make sure in your takeaway when the club is parallel to the ground, the toe is pointing up and is straight back to your body line.  If the club opens up too soon or too low you have a below plane swing, and if it doesn't open at all or too late + keeping the clubhead in front of your body too long, you have a more vertical swing plane (ala Jim Furyk).  I would need more info to help ya'll out anymore, good luck! :)

I think you hit the nail on the head. I have been bringing the the club too far inside on my backswing.

I noticed it when I finally went to the range. Thanks for the tip.

That would make sense, try focusing on your takeaway to get it in that neutral position or even as some pro’s have said just above plane is better than just below. As long as you get your takeaway the rest is just a good shoulder turn and you know the rest :). But I used to bring the club inside something HORRIBLE and I used to have a very low trajectory and random “events” as I call them (bad shots). The three most important things in golf in order are the grip, posture(which includes stance and ball position) and the takeaway. The takeaway guides what will happen at impact. A drill I really like that I made up after watching some other drill videos is to take a wedge, and just bring the club to that halfway point where the club is parallel to the ground and make a pitch shot ONLY going that high and no higher. If struck properly in a mid placed pitch shot the ball should launch fairly high. Now as long as you can get the club in the same position on the way down and add some oomph the ball will retain the launch angle but will obviously go farther. Have a good day!
