I've got a pretty good list going for enhancements that people have emailed me. If you've got something you would like to see added go ahead and post here. I'll add it to the list.
thanks,

This is not an enhancement but more of a problem I am having.
I talked two of my buddies into signing up. They have both tried to enter a round but neither was able to do it without an error. I tried to put a round in for them but was unable to do it under there account. I then put a dummy round in under my account and it worked.
They names are fatpat and pinseeker55.
You can look at fatpats and see what it looks like when he put in his round.

I think I've got this working now. Let me know if they are still having the problem.

I play from tees not rated for women much of the time. It would be helpful if I could copy the information from the teeboxes already in the system and then change the rating/slope and name of the teebox to reflect the calculated rating for women (according to USGA guidelines). For example, the title would be something like “White - Women's”. Otherwise I have to put in all the info for the teebox. I also play a lot of different courses, so this comes up quite a bit.

A very minor thing, but I'm never able to enter type of ball used. There's a list that shows a few types that I've used, but if I select “Not Listed”, I'm not able to add a new one.
Great site!

Excellent website! I just found it today, and will be sure to tell my budies.
One request, or perhaps it is already possible, I just don't know how to do it: would it be possible to print out the score-entering page with all the items (drive left/center/right, drive distance, number of puttsl up/down, sand-saves etc), so it would be easy to mark all of this on the golf course?
thanks.

I'm seeing this problem using Firefox but not Internet Explorer. I'll try to find some time this week to fix it for Firefox. In the meantime you can use IE.

This wouldn't be hard to do, but would take a little bit of time that I don't really have right now. I'll add it to the list of improvements for the future.

Love the site, it rocks! Like all the features you have added since joining back in December. All I can say is the more charts and stuff you can put the better.

That works fine — I'm an IE protester
I just tried editing a round using IE and adding a new ball, and everything's fine. I'm expecting it'll show up in the dropdown each time I use Firefox to input a new round.

I fixed the Ball used option when inputting a round. Should work for Firefox now.
Note: If you type anything in the text box it will use the text box instead of the drop down list.

I was just wondering what the requirements are for being listed on the leaderboard for ranking? I have entered the 6 rounds that I have played so far and it still says that I am not eligible for the leaderboard.
This is a great site and a very handy tool for my practice time.

I'm not sure I understand what leaderboard you are refering to? Is it a group leaderboard or the one under Rankings -> Leaderboard? If it's the latter then it will only rank a particular round based on the date you played. It ranks all rounds from all members based on which month you pick on the drop down. Let me know more information and I'll see what I can figure out. You may have found a bug in the program.
thanks,
Josh

Thank You for the response.. it is the Rankings Leaderboard and I haven't appeared on it as of yet. I pull down the April 2008 and it shows alot of golfers but at the very bottom it says that I don't have any eligible rounds for the ranking.

I was also wondering if you could tell me how many rounds I have to post or what I need to do to have a handicap show up on this site. I have entered 9 nine hole rounds but it shows my handicap at zero, any help on this would be appreciated. Thank You.

Sure…
The way the site is set up right now it only uses 18 hole rounds to calculate your handicap. I decided to make it this way for a variety of reasons I won't bore you with.
A work around would be entering two nine hole rounds as one 18. I know this isn't legal as far as the USGA goes, but it will give you an idea of what your handicap is. This site is just for fun anyway.

Thank You for your response, it was helpful. I should be getting on some 18 hole courses within the next couple of weeks so I will get the handicap figured then.
I am still wondering why I am not showing up on the Leaderboard ranking one as it tells me I haven't entered any round eligible for leaderboard.Do I have to enter an 18 hole round for that? No big deal on this, I am just curious.
Once again, thank you for your help.

No problem….
There is a 9 hole and an 18 hole leaderboard. You should show up on the 9 hole. Make sure you select the “9 Holes” radio button before you hit Go.

I did all of that and it never showed any of my rounds. I know that this is all in fun but I had a couple of nice rounds for my ability, I would liked to have seen my best round on the leaderboard.
