This is the first post on this new forum. Hopefully this will be another way to bring the mobile golf stat community together. That being said, my name is Josh and I'm the creator and as of now only staff working on this site Smile. I'm just another recreational golfer who doesn't get to play near as much as I would like (had my second kid, a little boy, 3 weeks ago).

Thanks! Despite my best efforts I can't get him to swing a club just yet.

Hi,

I'm a golfer in Seattle. I've also played in Montana and Florida, and I wish I could play 27 a day.

I've been out three times this year; average: 99. Today, there were golfers out in the snow here!

Cool site…

I’m not lookin for no birdies or no eagles…..I need a par…..Damn I’ll take a bogey…..What, I wasn’t OB!

The weather here has been terrible also.

I played 5 holes the other day before freezing rain shut us down.Yell

And yeah…27 holes a day would be awesome!

Hi, Everyone! I live and work in NYC. My wife and i picked up golf together last summer. I totally have the fever. I try my best to play once a month in the winter, and once a week the rest of the time. My scores are still pretty high, but i'll get under 100 at some point in time.

I travel a bunch for work, and i always have my golf bag with me.

Thanks for the warm welcomes! I need 'em. It snowed here yesterday and there's more in the forecast! It's been so wet the last few times out, I think I've blasted an acres worth of turf to oblivion (not to mention my average).

Congrats on your second. He probably keeps you close to the computer so you can run the site (good for us here!). Don't worry, soon enough he'll be your excuse to hit the course: “But honey, he's got to practice!”

Hi, Sam.

I've been here in Meridian, MS, for the past year after being stationed up over on the other side of the Sound (Bremerton/Silverdale) for the past 6 years.

Hadn't heard about the snow… I do remember how difficult it was with last year's snows, though (I was communting to Whidbey Island at that point).

Hello everyone. I live in Rapid City, SD… (Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore). Try to get out and golf couple times a week. Getting my wife started this year also. Found the site yesterday and been poking around. Really nice site, some nice tools, fills a much needed area for casual golfers. I expect this site will grow tremendously as word spreads….. (my hat is off to you jw).

Hi everyone…my name is Art and I live in Ohio, Brunswick, Ohio to be exact (suburb of Cleveland).  Dont get to play as much as I would like, but I try to get out as much as I can.  Seems that when I usually have the time to play it is either raining or do darn hot I roast.  In winter around here I try to play indoors at one of those computer setups, which are pretty cool.  If nothing else, it keeps your swing loose so it does not take as long to get into synch in the summer weather.

Welcome to the board ART, hope you stick around and post a lot. Pretty great set up here, in my short time here it has become even better in the last 7 months. They know what they are doing and what we like to see. Welcome again

Greetings all.  Great site JW!  Originally from Blacksburg Va. (and a VT Hokie '68) I've been playing since I was 9 (peaked when I was 12, shooting in low 80's).  Love playing the game no matter how I score … a close chip, a nice put, one-putts keep me coming back.  I try to play as many different courses as I can… there are about 50 courses (public/semi-private) within 1 hour drive from where I live in Greenville, SC … great golf weather year round.  I'm semi-retired with part-time consulting practice.  Typically play 1-4 times per month.  Especially enjoying being a “senior” and playing rounds of golf during the week on nice courses for $22.
