I made the 1.5 hour drive to golfsmith the other day to get a new driver.

I warmed up a little and then got on the launch monitor. These things are awesome.

I hit about 10 different drivers. I made an effort to not look at loft, shaft etc. I wanted whatever I hit the best and wasnt brand loyal. I would hit some then the guy would give me a different driver to hit.

After about an hour or so of pounding balls I ended up with a Taylormade burner Stiff flex with get this…….

…13 degrees of loft! Yeah I know thats almost a 3 wood.

I was getting about 240 yards of carry and a 14 degree launch angle with it. I got it for 150 bucks too.

I hit my old driver in there and was only getting about 10 degrees of launch angle.  The highbore is now on e-bay. It was more like the Lowbore .
