In my stock set of clubs, a 5W was standard, although my 3 iron is a hybrid. In playing with these clubs, I'm finding that I like the hybrid better than the wood, and considering swapping out for a hybrid in the range of a 2 iron.

It's probably a confidence thing (as most of my club decisions are), plus I like chipping with the hybrid, so I think I'll get more use out of it.

Anyone else tried something similar?

I think you should hit one, a 2 iron hybird , if you haven't already and if you do hit it better on a consisted level, then take the 5 wood out and replace it
