What's everyone's home course?

I guess I would consider mine to be The Links at Redstone in Huntsville, AL

I dont really have a home course.

I play all the different courses in my area.

When my kids get older I will probably get a family membership somewhere.

I probably play Hulman Links the most. Its in Terre Haute In.

Its a city course but its the toughest course around here.

You have to hit the ball straight and long here to score good.

Man im ready to play………this rain is killen me.

I too really don't have a course that I belong to. But there are several that I goto a lot. “The Pit” and Pinehurst Resort. Also from time to time I will go over to Pinewild and play. Have not played #2 or #4 at the resort but all the others have felt my mighty swing———–> slice.

Man thats too much.

You are in golf heaven.

Most courses I play are decent at best.

The best course I have played is The Brickyard.

Its in Indianapolis.

A few of the holes are inside the Indy 500 speedway track.

You have to drive under the track to get to them. Its pretty neat.

The course is also very nice.

Is it hard to get on these Pinehurst courses or have you just not got around to playing all of them yet?

Wow! I just looked up the rates for the number 2 course.

375.00! And you have to walk!

For $375.00 somebody better carry me around the course.Laughing

For me, it's whatever military course I'm closest to — for right now, it's Ponta Creek at NAS Meridian, MS.

You don't have to walk, you can ride but it is cart path only. I have a friend or contact at the resort and have played all these for as low as $5 and as much as $33. If I had to pay the total green fees, I would not be playing it. They say I am as tight as bark on a tree

Well Ed, if you are ever in this area, we have two military courses by Donald Ross, the mind of Pinehurst #2. One is Stryker and not sure of the other one, but they do have two on Pope and Bragg

Nothing wrong with watching where the money goes — it's REAL easy to spend. I make a point to always check out the golf courses at the military bases. There are some REALLY good deals on some fine golf at a lot of them!

That's why I have made several friends in with people who work at several courses here in Pinehurst. If you want to play, you have to find someone who can get you in at a great rate. I can play Pinehurst resort for $33 all courses except for #2#4. The resort is anywhere from $225 to $375. I can play the Pit for $25. And in High season this goes upto $117. Also I can play Pinewild, two courses and a par 3 for $19, it is usually well over $100 year round
