Played today at Pinewild COuntry Club in Pinehurst. They have two great tracks, but I got to play my favorite between them. I played The Holly, a Gary Player course. Par 72. I shot a 84 with 10 / 14 fairways and had 26 putts. Was the first time I used my new Irons, Ben Hogan AHS 4 - SW. Hit the beautifully, very straight and very high. All the grass is starting to come back nicely and soon you won't be able to tell what was overseeded and what is new. Beautiful course, a shot makers dream. If you ever get a chance to play it, DO IT!

What can I say, That I am on vacation, and living in a area that is so rich in golf. I took my new irons out to “The Bluff Golf Links”, shot a 79 was 14 out of 14 fairways with some monster drives. Had 6GIR's and 28 putts. Beautiful day, game was on. And when it was all over, came home in time to watch the Masters

Sounds like you like your new sticks.
Hitting that driver like you are you probably have only used your wedge though.

Pretty much right on the wedge into the green. But like you said, I fell in love with them the first time I hit them

That day I only had 28 putts. Very seldom do I hit the greens so I use my chipper to get clse to the hole.

Am leaving for Sunset Beach, North Carolina this morning. This is about 30 minutes north of Myrtle Beach, just this side of the state border with South Carolina. Am playing two courses, Sandpiper Bay, on Sunday, which I have played before, and also, The Pearl on Monday. Should be a great few days of sun and fun at the beach before coming home to play on Wednesday with my usual 4-some.
Then it is on to watch the US Open

Played today at Pinehurst resort. Played course#5. Shot a 86 which is about the norm for me. Had a great day golfing with Family and friends, then it was out for dinner with the wife.
