Today (9/1/08) was my first round after having 3 golf lessons. I’ve played for quite a number of years, and had other lessons, but it’s only been in the last few years that I’ve been able to devote the time to playing each week. At best I’ve been very inconsistent in every facet of my game except for putting. (I’m pretty good at putting - it’s my favorite part of the game!) My iron shots were fairly good and consistent, even overclubbing on some shots. Chipping and pitching are working better, but my driver is now very inconsistent. Off to more lessons!

Well, winter is here.  I already cant stand it.  Its cold and I have to shovel snow.  The only thing that keeps me on track is the next golfing adventure!  This winter I am going to make a concious effort to start getting into the dome and practice.  This next season is going to be huge.  I figure if Joel can get under 100, it shouldn’t even be an issue for me!  I can offically say that I have shovled snow for the first time this winter and i am 1 shoveling closer to getting out on the GREEN!
